Birthday celebration
Baden-Baden, Germany
For this 60th birthday celebration, we transformed the iconic Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden into a setting inspired by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Guests arrived to an evening shaped by layered storytelling and subtle surprises. They were welcomed by a stilt walker, immediately setting the tone for a night where reality and imagination subtly intertwined. The experience began with a cocktail hour featuring a magician, before transitioning into a candlelit dinner and an energetic after party.
The storytelling started long before the event itself. The invitation was designed as a custom-made book, inspired by the original Fear and Loathing publication, offering guests a first glimpse of what was to come. Upon arrival, a bespoke neon sign welcomed everyone, while guests were handed vintage keys with tassels, later guiding them to their dinner tables.
Throughout the evening, carefully considered details guided and surprised guests. Menu cards were designed as poker chips, while personalised coasters, napkins, disposable cameras and matchboxes added playful layers to the concept. A bespoke leather bar menu, finished with gold foil, completed the setting. Dinner took place in a warm, candlelit atmosphere before transitioning into the after party. The Wintergarten, normally filled with daylight, was transformed into a cozy lounge with deep red drapery. A live band, together with poker and roulette tables, introduced a playful Las Vegas edge into the space and encouraged guests to linger well into the night.
This celebration was defined by atmosphere, storytelling and an uncompromising attention to detail. A birthday designed to be experienced, not just celebrated.
